Terms and Conditions — Vezo Expeditions
1️⃣ Purpose of the Contract
These general terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between Vezo Expeditions, a travel agency based in Madagascar, and any person wishing to book a tour, excursion, or other travel service offered by the agency.
Any booking implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2️⃣ Booking
A booking becomes effective once confirmed in writing (by e-mail or through the website form) and upon payment of a 30% deposit of the total trip cost.
The balance must be paid no later than 15 days before departure.
For last-minute bookings (less than 15 days before departure), full payment is required at the time of booking.
3️⃣ Payment Methods
Payments can be made by:
International bank transfer
Credit card online (if available)
Cash upon arrival in Madagascar, according to prior agreement with the agency
Any bank charges related to the payment are the responsibility of the client.
4️⃣ Cancellation by the Client
All cancellations must be made in writing (by e-mail) to Vezo Expeditions.
The following cancellation fees apply:
More than 30 days before departure → 10% of the total trip cost
Between 15 and 30 days before departure → 30% of the total trip cost
Less than 15 days before departure → 100% of the total trip cost
Any bank fees related to refunds are at the client’s expense.
5️⃣ Cancellation or Modification by the Agency
Vezo Expeditions reserves the right to modify or cancel a program in the event of exceptional circumstances (bad weather, road conditions, strikes, or safety concerns).
In such cases, the agency will offer an alternative solution of equivalent value or a partial refund depending on the situation.
6️⃣ Travel Insurance
Each traveler is strongly advised to take out personal travel insurance, covering:
Trip cancellation
Medical and hospitalization expenses
Repatriation
Loss or theft of luggage
Vezo Expeditions does not provide such insurance coverage.
7️⃣ Responsibility
Vezo Expeditions acts as an intermediary between the client and the various service providers (hotels, carriers, guides, etc.).
The agency cannot be held responsible for delays, losses, accidents, injuries, or damages caused by third parties or events beyond its control.
8️⃣ Complaints
Any complaint must be made in writing within 10 days after the end of the trip.
Vezo Expeditions will respond as quickly as possible and strive to find an amicable solution.
9️⃣ Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
This contract is governed by Malagasy law.
In case of dispute, the competent court will be that of the jurisdiction where Vezo Expeditions has its registered office in Madagascar.

The personal information collected during booking is used solely for managing travel arrangements and will never be shared with third parties, except as necessary to provide travel services (hotel, flight, or activity bookings).
